Mahindra First Choice Wheels introduces connected car solution for pre-owned cars in partnership with Wipro

MFCWL says the Konnect First device will upgrade any existing vehicle into a smart car, and is priced at Rs 7,999.

Mahindra First Choice Wheels introduces connected car solution for pre-owned cars in partnership with Wipro

Mahindra First Choice Wheels (MFCWL), the multi-brand certified used car company, has introduced Konnect First – a connected car device designed to upgrade an existing car into a Smart Car. The solution is priced at Rs 7,999 and will come complimentary one year app subscription.

It says the idea was idea was conceptualised by MFCWL, and the device has been developed by Wipro, a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company.

Mahindra says that Konnect First will be available at more than 1,500 of its franchise outlets across more than 700 cities through the country. It says the intelligent connected drive solution, will enable the car owner to interact with the vehicle and stay connected to it via a mobile app, which will be available on both iOS and Android platforms.

The solution will have several class-leading features, that offers the car owner a comprehensive package of safety, loss prevention, utility, maintenance and driving analytics in one seamless interface, thus providing complete peace of mind when it comes to the well-being of the car and its owner. The device is compatible with 200+ car variants across brands and can be easily plugged into the car’s OBD port to allow the driver access to a suite of additional functions.

Konnect First features

Safety: Instant Location sharing, real-time vehicle tracking, roadside assistance, risk cluster, SOS alerts.

Security and Loss Prevention: tow alerts, break-in protection, valet protect and fatigue driving alerts.

Maintenance: battery voltage, engine coolant and vehicle health monitoring alerts.

Utility features: vehicle insights, trip listing and analytics, dynamic leader-board, driving summary, driving profile analytics, document wallet.

Konnect First is priced at Rs 7,999 and comes with a complimentary one year app subscription, and will also offer a one-year warranty and aftermarket customer support.
