Ceat launches new Gripp X3 tyres for motorcycles

Ceat today launched its new new range of Gripp X3 Everlasting Grip tyres designed for the motorcycle segment in India. According to Ceat, the tyre's USP is its consistently strong grip; the tyre continues to maintain the same level of grip on the road, throughout its lifetime. In the initial phase of the launch, the tyres will be available for motorcycles in the 100cc to 125cc range, followed by over 150cc bikes.

Ceat says the Gripp X3 tyre delivers an "everlasting grip with the help of dual compound technology. Whether the tyre is new, partially worn out or old, the traction of the tyre on the road remains the same. The tread area of the Ceat Gripp X3 features dual rubber compound. This dual compound construction ensures that despite the tread wear, the tyre continues to grip the road with the same effectiveness as that of the new tyre. It is claimed that this 'Everlasting Grip' action is effective even up to 80 percent tyre wear.

Commenting on the launch, Nitish Bajaj, senior vice-president, Marketing, Ceat, said “With the Ceat Gripp X3 tyres, we hope to create a new benchmark in the motorcycle tyre space. Gripp X3 effectively addresses the consumer pain point of reduced tyre grip as the tyre wears out and becomes old. With the Everlasting Grip feature, the rider can now remain confident of riding on varied road terrains, no matter how new or old his tyre is. With an exceptional longlasting grip, we are sure the new range of Gripp X3 tyres will become the first choice for the consumers seeking superior grip that lasts a long time.”

CEAT Gripp X3 tyres are sold from authorised Ceat Shoppes, dealers and distributors at key markets across the country.
