Atul Auto launches diesel Gemini three-wheeler

Trivandrum, June 6, 2013: Three-wheeler manufacturer Atul Auto has launched its new 395cc four-stroke diesel-engined Gemini Dz. The 7.4bhp vehicle comes with electric start, comfortable interiors and ample luggage space.

Speaking at the launch today, Paul Zachariah, vice-president (Marketing), Atul Auto, said: “The Gemini Dz redefines all performance characteristics like pickup, fuel efficiency, reliability and safety to give pride of ownership to our customers. While designing the Gemini Dz, our R&D team has considered every aspect of efficiency which will result in more earning for vehicle owner. We believe that it will deliver excellent values in terms of ROI and help consolidate our position in the smaller three-wheeler segment.”

Atul Auto is offering a 24-month warranty and six free services. The company has a sales and service network of over 147 dealerships in addition to 106 touch-points. In 2012-13, the company posted standalone net profit of Rs 25.92 crore as against Rs 15.60 crore in 2011-12, an increase of 66 percent. During the year, it sold 32,040 vehicles, compared to 27,000 units in 2011-12. Manufacturing operations are at Rajkot in Gujarat with an annual production capacity of 48,000 units.
