Datsun reveals sketch of first car for Russia
Datsun has revealed the sketch of its first-ever car for Russia.
Datsun has revealed the sketch of its first-ever car for Russia. The new car is to be launched on April 4. Russia, which is a key market for the reborn Datsun brand and offers much potential for growth, ranks among the Top 15 global automobile manufacturers and produced 1,968,789 cars in 2012.
The car has been developed specially for the Russian market, but its concept follows the brand’s common global philosophy of offering customers – known as ‘risers’ – an engaging driving experience, peace-of-mind ownership and accessibility at the right and transparent price, with a competitive total cost of ownership.
While the car’s styling was done in Japan, development work was carried out locally by an international team of engineers drawing on Nissan Motor Corporation’s manufacturing experience and technical expertise.
