Webinar | Future Disruptions in Automotive Design with Autodesk Studio tools
The Autocar Professional webinar on the future of automotive design, powered by Autodesk, focused on the global automotive design trends that are being influenced by the sustainability drive, changing consumer preferences, as well as supply chain constraints.
Automotive design is witnessing a profound transformation on a global scale and the change is being driven by a confluence of factors, such as the transition towards greener vehicles, and the rapid advancement in technology.
The rise of electric vehicles (EVs), autonomous driving capabilities, and connectivity features, is compelling designers to reimagine traditional vehicle layouts and their styling, and the shift towards sustainable practices, with a growing emphasis on eco-friendly materials, aerodynamics, and energy efficiency, is another key element propelling this change.
On January 31, Autocar Professional hosted a webinar on the subject - Future Disruptions in Automotive Design with Autodesk Studio tools. The session was powered by Autodesk, and focused on the global automotive design trends that are being fueled by the shift towards sustainable mobility solutions, changing consumer preferences, as well as supply chain constraints.
While the session dived into the global design megatrends, it also shed light on how the challenges, and opportunities could be tapped into with the use of technological tools like Autodesk Alias, and VRED. Samarth Gupta, Industrial Design Specialist, Autodesk, gave a peek of the future trends with his detailed presentation.
