At the centre of Matter’s approach is a move away from multiple distributed electronic control units to a single, high-performance computing core. Lalbhai explains that consolidating several mid-level processors into one central chip not only simplifies vehicle electronics but also unlocks meaningful cost efficiencies at scale. More importantly, it enables the motorcycle to continuously interpret rider inputs and operating conditions, allowing performance and energy usage to adapt in real time.
