Dahdah says companies that fail to connect and leverage data risk falling behind in an increasingly software-driven automotive industry.

At the PTC Automotive Executive Exchange held in New Delhi, PTC Chief Revenue Officer Robert Dahdah told Autocar Professional that AI, connected data ecosystems and cloud-based engineering are rapidly transforming the global automotive industry.

Speaking to Autocar Professional’s Mukul Yudhveer Singh, Dahdah said shrinking vehicle development cycles, increasing software complexity and the rise of AI are forcing OEMs and suppliers to rethink traditional engineering and manufacturing approaches. He added that companies with strong data foundations and interconnected platforms across OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers and software partners will be better positioned to improve speed, quality and competitiveness in the years ahead.
