As the focus in the automotive sector shifts towards sustainaible mobility and software-defined vehicles, SRM University is taking bold steps by revisiting its curriculum to keep up with the needs of the industry.

In this interview, Dr K. Kamalakkannan, Professor, Department of Automobile Engineering, SRM University, talks about how the university is increasingly bringing focus towards research in EVs, friction materials, and alternative fuels, among other key technology areas to produce a future-ready workforce.
