As countries focus on cleaner alternatives to foster economic growth, sustainability has taken centre stage in recent years, and India is poised to play a pivotal role in giving a fillip to the economy, especially via its electrification journey.

From infrastructure development to policy frameworks, from advancements in technology to consumer awareness, each aspect plays a vital role in defining the success of electric vehicles in our country. As the sector grows at this electrifying pace, Autocar Professional partnered with the Tamil Nadu government to organise the India EV Conclave in Chennai on November 21, 2023.

The India EV Conclave emerged as a forum that sparked new ideas, and saw collaborations among industry stakeholders flourishing. The various discussions through the event shed light on the way to navigate through the challenges lying ahead of the EV industry, as well as capitalising on the immense opportunities that lie ahead.
