Rashmi Urdhwarashe, director, ARAI, talks about the recent partnership with BHEL, the lightweighting technology that ARAI has developed that would eventually bolster the EV industry and what the Indian manufacturers should do to be at par with the global players. She comments on when we would see an aggressive growth of EVs in the industry and the ways of ensuring safe manufacturing practices of safe vehicles. Urdhawarashe also reveals some of the regulations being drawn up to ensure a safe EV and the opportunities from all the alternate fuels.
