ZELO Electric has launched the Knight+ electric scooter at an introductory price of ₹59,990 (ex-showroom) on August 7, 2025. The company positions the vehicle as an entry point for premium electric mobility in India's two-wheeler market.

The Knight+ features a 1.8kWh portable lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that provides a 100-kilometer real-world range. The scooter is equipped with a 1.5kW motor and reaches a top speed of 55 kilometers per hour. The removable battery can be charged at home, allowing users to avoid dependency on charging stations.

Key features include hill hold control, which prevents backward rolling on inclines, cruise control for consistent speed maintenance, and follow-me-home headlamps that remain lit briefly after parking. The scooter also includes a USB charging port for mobile devices and other electronics.

"At just ₹59,990, it's the most feature-rich, value-packed electric scooter in its class," said Mukund Baheti, co-founder of ZELO Electric. The company aims to make electric mobility accessible to a broader range of consumers across urban and rural markets.

The Knight+ is available in six color options, including single-tone variants in white and black, and dual-tone combinations featuring matte finishes with white accents in blue, red, yellow, and grey.

ZELO Electric currently operates four models in the Indian market. The company offers three low-speed electric scooters - Zoop, Knight, and Zaeden - along with the Zaeden+ in the RTO-registered segment. The brand operates under SLSR Electro Pvt Ltd and has established a dealership network across India over three years of operations.

Pre-bookings for the Knight+ are available at ZELO Electric dealerships, with deliveries scheduled to begin on August 20, 2025. The launch represents the company's strategy to combine performance features with competitive pricing in India's growing electric two-wheeler market.
