Xiaomi EV has officially launched its first sport utility vehicle, the Xiaomi YU7. Built on a new platform, the YU7 represents a distinct departure from the SU7 sedan, although it retains some elements of the brand’s design language. The company describes the model as a mid-to-large SUV that integrates intelligent technology, spacious interiors, and enhanced performance.
The Xiaomi YU7 measures 4999 mm in length, 1996 mm in width, and 1600 mm in height with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. Key structural features include a 3.11 m² clamshell aluminum hood — the largest among mass-produced vehicles — and a 141 L electric front trunk. Design updates include a revised headlight system with integrated air channels and a reworked taillight structure that increases nighttime visibility.
The model also features a new electric-flush door handle system and 10 air channels plus 19 vents for aerodynamic optimization, contributing to a drag coefficient of Cd 0.245. Three launch colors are available: Emerald Green, Titanium Silver, and Lava Orange.
Inside, the YU7 offers a cabin centered on Xiaomi’s “Dual-Zone Surround Luxury” layout. It includes the Xiaomi HyperVision Panoramic Display — a triple Mini LED screen system projecting data onto the windshield — and a centralized infotainment control panel. Seating features include dual zero-gravity front seats with massage functions and power-adjustable rear seats. Materials used throughout the cabin have earned OEKO-TEX Class 1 certification for hypoallergenic safety.

The top-spec model features the Xiaomi HyperEngine V6s Plus, generating up to 690 PS and 508 kW, with a 0–100 km/h acceleration in 3.23 seconds. Chassis elements include front double wishbone and rear five-link suspension, a closed dual-chamber air spring system, and Brembo brakes.
Three versions will be offered: Standard (835 km CLTC range with 96.3 kWh battery), Pro (760 km), and Max (770 km with 101.7 kWh battery). All use an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, achieving up to 620 km of range with a 15-minute charge.
Safety is enhanced by a steel-aluminum hybrid body structure, upgraded from the SU7, with the addition of 2200 MPa ultra-high strength steel in key areas. The vehicle includes an array of sensors and radars, including LiDAR, 4D millimeter-wave radar, and 11 cameras, supporting advanced driver assistance features.
The YU7 runs on an updated Electrical/Electronic Architecture (EEA) featuring a Four-in-One Domain Control Module and chips from Snapdragon and NVIDIA, enabling fast OTA updates and improved connectivity through Wi-Fi 7, dual 5G, and UWB technology.
Official sales of the Xiaomi YU7 are scheduled to begin in July 2025. A scaled 1:18 alloy model is also available for purchase in select finishes.
