Vitesco Technologies showcases innovative solutions at ACMA Global Summit for EVs

Vitesco Technologies, a provider of advanced drive technologies for e-mobility, unveiled a range of innovative electrification and powertrain solutions at the ACMA Global Summit and Exhibition for EVs – Transforming Mobility. Held on February 26 and 27, at the Manekshaw Center in Delhi, the event aimed to position India as a global manufacturing hub for EV components amidst the country's burgeoning EV market.

Among the showcased products was the EMR4, Vitesco Technologies' latest generation High Voltage Axle Drive. This highly scalable axle drive comprises a permanent-magnet synchronous machine, an inverter, and a reducer, offering versatility and efficiency for various vehicle segments.

Additionally, Vitesco Technologies presented its High Voltage Box 2.0, designed for AC and DC charging to recharge high voltage batteries from the power grid. The charging performance ranged from 11 kW to 22 kW for DC output at 800 V, with customized solutions available for 400 V. The Master Controller, another highlight, manages torque distribution to different control units such as the engine, e-motor, and battery.

Other innovations showcased included the Fuel Cell Stack Control Valve, Inductive Rotor Position Sensor, H2 Leakage Sensor, and NOx sensors.

The ACMA EV Expo 2024 featured over 100 EV component manufacturers catering to all vehicle segments, demonstrating the industry's breadth and depth. Organised by The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the event highlighted India's prowess in the auto component industry, with a membership exceeding 850 manufacturers contributing to over 85% of the sector's total turnover.
