VinFast India Signs Agreements with 50-Plus E-Motorcycle Dealers Across 15 States
VinFast starts to expand its footprint in Indian two-wheeler market with planned showrooms in 34 cities ahead of official launch.
VinFast announced that it has signed Letters of Intent with an initial group of over 50 electric motorcycle dealer partners in India, establishing a distribution footprint across 15 states and territories. The agreements were finalized at VinFast's manufacturing complex in Hai Phong during an official working visit by Indian dealer representatives.
Under the terms of the agreements, VinFast and its retail partners will establish more than 50 electric motorcycle showrooms across 34 cities, targeting key regional markets including Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. The expansion represents VinFast's first dedicated distribution network for two-wheelers in India, complementing its existing electric passenger vehicle operations.
Vo Thi Cam Tu, Managing Director of VinFast E-Scooters Overseas Market, said, "India is one of the most important markets in VinFast's global growth story, and this partnership reflects the scale of ambition we hold for the region. This LOI signing demonstrates our long-term commitment to India, as well as our expectations and confidence in the vast scale and potential of the market."
