VECV’s August 2024 wholesales jump 2% YoY to 6028 units

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. recorded sales of 6028 units in August 2024 as compared to 5907 units in August  2023, a growth of 2%. 

The company noted in a regularory filing that Eicher branded trucks & buses recorded sales of 6444 units in July 2024 as compared to 5736 units in August 2023, representing a growth of 12.3%.

In the domestic Eicher sales, LMD (Light and Medium Duty) Trucks (3.5-18.5T) stood at  3,241 units in August 2024, a degrowth of  6.4% YoY.  In the HD (Heavy Duty) (≥18.5T)  the sales during August 2024, stood at 1,611 units, translating into a jump of 4.6%.

Likewise, in the  LMD Bus, the category grew by  29.6% YoY to  1,006 units. The HD buses wtinessed 170 unit sales at  32.8% YoY growth. Additionally, the total Volvo Trucks & Buses stood at  260 units—a jump of  9.7% YoY.
