VECV Sales Rise 17.7% YoY to 8,434 Units in August 2026

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) reported total sales of 8,434 units in August 2026, up 17.7% from 7,167 units in August 2025.

The August 2026 sales included 8,162 units of Eicher-branded trucks and buses and 272 units of Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses.

Eicher-branded trucks and buses recorded sales growth of 17.9% year on year, rising from 6,924 units in August 2025 to 8,162 units last month.

VECV sales rise 17.7% in August 2026

VECV's Eicher-branded trucks and buses accounted for the bulk of the company's August volumes. In the domestic commercial vehicle market, Eicher sold 7,584 units, compared with 6,331 units a year earlier, representing growth of 19.8%.

Eicher domestic CV sales grow 19.8% YoY

The domestic market was the main contributor to Eicher's August growth, with volumes increasing by 1,253 units year on year.

However, VECV's exports declined during the month. The company reported export sales of 578 units in August 2026, down 2.5% from 593 units in August 2025.

VECV exports decline 2.5% while Volvo sales increase

Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses recorded combined sales of 272 units in August 2026, up 11.9% from 243 units in the corresponding month last year.
