Uno Minda Limited has provided an update regarding its ongoing acquisition of e-Drives business assets in Vietnam from Friwo. In a regulatory filing addressed to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company stated that the transaction is still underway and is on track for completion by or before July 22, 2025.
This update follows an earlier communication dated July 2, 2025, and aims to keep stakeholders informed of the progress. The acquisition is seen as a strategic move to strengthen Uno Minda’s presence in the electric mobility components segment.
The company confirmed that further developments will be communicated in due course.
Uno Minda Limited, previously known as Minda Industries Limited, is a Tier-1 supplier of automotive components and systems, serving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in India and globally. Founded in 1958 and incorporated in 1992, the company offers products across more than 28 categories, catering to passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, two- and three-wheelers, and off-road segments.
