Uno Minda, a Tier 1 supplier of proprietary automotive solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in India, has launched UnoMindaKart, a new direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce platform. This move marks a strategic step into the online aftermarket space, enabling customers to access Uno Minda’s wide range of automotive components directly through its own website.
The UnoMindaKart platform offers more than 5,000 products organized into over 30 categories. These include spare parts across 24 categories, car accessories in 10 categories, and a dedicated section for alloy wheels. It caters to a wide range of vehicle types, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, tractors, and off-road vehicles.
Key features of the website include an ‘Add My Vehicle’ tool, which lets users input vehicle details to receive product recommendations, and a 3D Visualizer that shows how components fit on actual vehicles using augmented reality. The Wheelz Visualizer enables customers to preview different alloy wheel designs on their vehicles before making a purchase. A chatbot assistant is also available on the site to support users in selecting the right products and addressing queries.
According to Mr. Anand Kumar, Head of Strategy & Product at Uno Minda Aftermarket, the platform is designed to improve accessibility and purchasing convenience for consumers in the Indian automotive aftermarket.
With a history spanning over six decades, Uno Minda continues to expand its technological offerings. Customers can now access the UnoMindaKart platform via www.unomindakart.com.
