Uno Minda Launches Metal Wiper Blade Range for Automotive Aftermarket

Uno Minda Aftermarket has announced the launch of a new metal wiper blade range to expand its presence in the domestic automotive aftermarket. Equipped with technology from Taiwan, the product rollout addresses consumer demand for improved vehicle visibility and quiet component performance across varying weather conditions.

The new component range incorporates a pressure balanced frame design engineered to maintain uniform contact with the vehicle windshield for smooth wiping operations. To lower operational friction and reduce noise, the rubber blade elements are treated with a specialized graphite and Teflon coating. Anand Kumar, Business Head at Uno Minda Aftermarket, stated that the product combination is aimed at addressing typical aftermarket challenges such as rapid wear, screeching, and streak formation that compromise driver safety.

The range has been priced from Rs 180 to Rs 405. The products will be distributed nationally through established retail outlets and online commercial platforms.
