Uno Minda appoints Vivek Jindal as Whole time Director
Vivek Jindal is the son-in-law of Nirmal K Minda, Chairman and Managing Director of the Company and has 19 years of experience in the automotive Industry.
Uno Minda has appointed Vivek Jindal as Whole-time Director, for a three year term, effective today to 31 March 2027.
"The Board has now approved the appointment of Jindal as Whole-time Director considering his background, experience, and contributions to the Company during his past tenure as the Director of the Company," the company said in the exchange filing.
Vivek Jindal is the son-in-law of Nirmal K Minda, Chairman and Managing Director of the Company and has 19 years of experience in the automotive Industry. He has
completed his engineering from IIT Delhi, MBA from Katz Graduate School of Business (University of Pittsburgh - USA) and Executive MBA program (PLD) from Harvard Business School. He is also member of Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO)- Delhi Chapter, Chairperson- Northern Region of ACMA and Member of CII Haryana State Council.
Before joining Uno Minda Group, he worked at Infosys Technologies and India Bulls.
The company has also appointed A G Giridharan, currently serving as Deputy CEO
Appointment for Safety and Comfort System (SCS) Domain, as CEO-SCS Domain, due to organisational changes.
A G Giridharan is a B. Tech Graduate from IIT Kharagpur and PGDM from IIM Calcutta. He has approximately 35 years of experience in various fields including but not limited to Consumer & Industrial markets on Business Strategy and Performance Improvement, Business Planner for Automotive Products Division etc. He has been growing the business to strong brand with high export share and reputation for Quality and Technology.
