Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Inaugurates OPG Mobility Dealership in Nagpur

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated OPG Mobility's new Ferrato dealership on June 10, 2025, in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The electric two-wheeler showroom, operated by Vajra E Scooter, is located near 3-Nal Chowk, Gandhibagh, and represents the company's expansion strategy to increase electric vehicle adoption in central India.

The dealership opening marks a strategic milestone for OPG Mobility, formerly known as Okaya EV, as it establishes presence in Maharashtra's central region. The facility combines sales and service operations under one roof, offering customers comprehensive support for electric vehicle ownership.

The new showroom features the complete range of Ferrato electric two-wheelers, including high-speed models such as DEFY 22, Faast F4, F3, F2T, F2F, and F2B, low-speed variants including Freedum LI and LA, and the premium Disruptor electric motorcycle. The product lineup addresses diverse customer requirements across different usage patterns and price segments.

"We are truly privileged to have Shri Nitin Gadkari ji grace the inauguration of our new Ferrato two-wheeler dealership in Nagpur, Maharashtra. His presence highlights the importance of sustainable mobility and strengthens our commitment to delivering innovative, reliable EV solutions supported by a customer-focused service network. This dealership launch is a pivotal milestone that solidifies our foothold in central India and strategically positions us for expansion into western as well as southern markets," said OM Prakash Gupta, Founder of OPG Mobility.

Gupta emphasized the significance of ministerial support for the electric vehicle sector. "Shri Nitin Gadkari ji's visionary leadership in sustainable infrastructure and green mobility continues to inspire the entire industry. His support at this launch amplifies our mission to drive widespread adoption of electric vehicles, contributing significantly to India's journey towards a greener, more sustainable future," he added.

The dealership aims to provide comprehensive customer services including after-sales support, financing facilities, and educational assistance regarding electric vehicle operation and maintenance. Customers purchasing through Flipkart will receive promotional discounts on selected models, enhancing affordability and market access.

The Nagpur location serves as a foundation for OPG Mobility's broader expansion plans across central, western, and southern Indian markets. The company continues to develop its retail and service network to meet increasing demand for sustainable transportation solutions.

OPG Mobility operates through multiple brand divisions addressing different market segments. The Ferrato brand focuses on electric two-wheelers, OTTOOPG serves the three-wheeler passenger and cargo market, and MTEKPOWER provides battery, inverter, solar, and energy storage solutions.
