Ultraviolette Tesseract Receives Over 20,000 Pre-Bookings Within 48 Hours

Ultraviolette has announced that its newly unveiled electric scooter, the Tesseract, has received over 20,000 pre-bookings within 48 hours. In response to the demand, the company has extended the introductory price of ₹1.2 lakh for the first 50,000 bookings.

The Tesseract features a sharp and aerodynamic design, with different styling elements. It has a large frame with bold, angular lines, consistent with Ultraviolette’s design approach. Subtle graphics and a carefully selected color scheme contribute to its overall aesthetic.

At the front, the scooter includes a twin-LED headlamp setup with integrated winglet-style daytime running lights (DRLs) that also serve as indicators. The side profile emphasizes its extended frame and a premium-quality seat, while the rear maintains an aerodynamic structure that tapers towards the back.

Equipped with several first-in-segment features, the Tesseract is the first electric scooter in India to incorporate Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology. It includes front and rear cameras for real-time monitoring, a full-circle radar system for enhanced situational awareness, and haptic feedback on the handlebar to improve ergonomics.

The front radar identifies obstacles in the scooter’s path, while the rear radar monitors approaching vehicles and issues timely alerts. A built-in front dashcam not only records video but also analyzes weather and terrain conditions, optimizing the scooter’s performance accordingly.

Performance specifications include an IDC-certified range of 261 km, a peak power output of 20 hp, and a top speed of 125 km/h. The Tesseract supports fast charging through Ultraviolette’s Supernova system, allowing a 20-80% charge in under 30 minutes.

Additional features include a 7-inch TFT display with real-time navigation, wireless phone charging, and 34 liters of underseat storage, providing space for a full-face helmet and other essentials.

Customers can pre-book the Tesseract at the introductory price until 50,000 reservations are reached. Bookings can be made through Ultraviolette’s official website.
