Ultraviolette Automotive has officially launched its F77 performance electric motorcycles in Spain and Portugal, expanding its European footprint as part of its ongoing global growth strategy.
The launch marks the company's entry into the Iberian Peninsula, bringing its total European market presence to twelve countries. Rhino Electric Motors will serve as the exclusive importer and distributor for both markets, leveraging its established distribution network across the region.
Ultraviolette is introducing two variants in these markets: the F77 MACH 2, featuring an aggressive, race-inspired design for dynamic riding, and the F77 SuperStreet, which offers more upright ergonomics focused on comfort while maintaining performance characteristics.
Technical Specifications
The F77 motorcycles are equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery pack and deliver 30 kW of peak power with 100 Nm of torque. The vehicles accelerate from 0 to 60 kph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 km/h.
Technology features include Ultraviolette's proprietary Violette A.I. system, Bosch-developed switchable Dual-Channel ABS, 10 levels of regenerative braking, four levels of traction control, and dynamic stability control.
Market Context
Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and co-founder of Ultraviolette, noted that the company has received positive reception in France, Germany, the Netherlands, and other European markets since its Paris debut earlier this year. He emphasized the company's focus on demonstrating Indian engineering capabilities in the global automotive sector.
"Spain and Portugal have deep-rooted motorcycling cultures and are rapidly evolving into hubs for sustainable innovation and EV adoption," Subramaniam stated.
Jorge Bialade, spokesperson for Rhino Electric Motors, characterized Ultraviolette as bringing together technology, design, and emotional appeal to the electric motorcycle segment.
