TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the new TVS Jupiter 110 in Nepal. Positioned as an upgrade in the commuter scooter segment, the new Jupiter 110 introduces design changes, additional features, and an updated engine aimed at enhancing performance and fuel efficiency.
The scooter is powered by a 113.3 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, producing 5.9 kW of power at 6,500 rpm and torque of up to 9.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm (with iGO Assist). The company claims a 10% improvement in mileage compared to its predecessor, supported by the newly integrated iGO Assist technology and an intelligent ignition system featuring auto start-stop and ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) for smoother acceleration during overtaking or inclines.
The new Jupiter 110 incorporates 15 first-in-class and 14 best-in-class features. Highlights include a Bluetooth-enabled digital cluster offering SMS alerts, call and navigation support, and fuel efficiency indicators. Practical features such as front fuel fill, dual-helmet under-seat storage, a USB charger, and a longer seat aim to improve day-to-day usability. The scooter also comes with safety enhancements like rotopetal disc brakes, an emergency brake warning system, hazard lamps, and the MetalMaxx body frame.
Design updates include a refreshed styling approach with infinity light bars, a Piano Black contrast panel, and ergonomic improvements like a lower center of gravity and a more central mass position, which, according to the company, supports better balance in urban traffic conditions.
The new model will be available in a single Disc SXC variant and offered in Dawn Blue Matte. It is priced at NPR 2,57,900 and will be sold through TVS dealerships across Nepal.
TVS Motor Company operates in over 80 countries and manufactures two- and three-wheelers through facilities in India and Indonesia.
