TVS Motor Company Launches Orbiter Electric Scooter at ₹99,900
Designed for urban mobility, the Orbiter offers a 158 km range, cruise control, and segment-first features aimed at next-gen riders.
TVS Motor Company launched the TVS Orbiter electric scooter in Bengaluru and New Delhi on Wednesday, priced at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom, inclusive of PM e-Drive scheme). The company designed the vehicle to target urban commuters with features including a 158 km IDC range, cruise control, and a 34-litre boot space.
The TVS Orbiter incorporates an industry-first 14-inch front wheel and offers segment-first features such as hill hold assist and advanced connected capabilities. The scooter operates on a 3.1 kWh battery and includes geo-fencing, time fencing, and crash/fall alert systems.
The vehicle measures 845 mm in seat length and provides 169 mm ground clearance. Storage capacity includes under-seat space sufficient for two helmets, while the straight-line footboard extends 290 mm for legroom.

The connected features include a mobile app for remote battery monitoring, turn-by-turn navigation, and incoming call display on the LCD cluster. Safety systems encompass anti-theft alerts, live location tracking, and emergency notifications.

The scooter features LED headlamps with integrated indicators, USB 2.0 charging port, and edge-to-edge combination lights. The vehicle operates in dual modes - Eco and Power - with regenerative braking functionality.
TVS Orbiter comes in six color options: Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper. The company manufactures the vehicle at its facilities in India and positions it as part of its expanding electric vehicle portfolio.
