Toyota Launches Tech Package for Urban Cruiser Hyryder at Rs 29,499

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced a Tech Package for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, priced at Rs 29,499. The package is designed to enhance the SUV's in-cabin experience with advanced comfort and convenience features.

The Tech Package comprises three Toyota genuine accessories available across all Urban Cruiser Hyryder variants. The ambient lighting system illuminates the cabin with customizable lighting to create a refined interior atmosphere. A heads-up display projects vehicle information directly in the driver's line of sight to reduce distraction and improve safety. The package also includes a digital video recorder that provides continuous recording for enhanced security.

The accessories will be available at all Toyota dealerships nationwide at the recommended retail price of Rs 29,499.

Since its launch in 2022, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has been well received in the Indian market. The SUV is positioned in the B-SUV segment and starts at Rs 10.94 lakhs (ex-showroom). Sales have recently crossed 200,000 units.

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder features a self-charging strong hybrid electric powertrain that operates 40% of the distance and 60% of the time on electric power, delivering fuel efficiency of 27.97 km/l. A conventional 1.5-liter petrol engine option is also available with manual and automatic transmission choices, including 2WD and 4WD configurations.

The SUV's design includes a crystal acrylic grille, twin LED daytime running lights, sculpted body lines, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Interior features include ventilated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, USB charging, and a 360-degree camera.

Toyota offers the Urban Cruiser Hyryder with a 3-year/100,000 km warranty, extendable to 5 years/220,000 km, and an 8-year/160,000 km hybrid battery warranty. The company also provides 66 exclusive accessories for the model.

The Tech Package introduction follows Toyota's strategy to enhance the ownership experience through aftermarket accessories and convenience features for its SUV lineup in India.
