Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) formally inaugurated Patni Toyota, a new dealership in Raipur, on April 15, 2026, marking the automaker's latest step in broadening its retail footprint across Chhattisgarh. The event was presided over by Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, and Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, Member of Parliament for Raipur.

Spread across approximately 1,00,000 sq. ft., the facility is structured as a 3S outlet covering Sales, Service, and Spares — and includes Toyota U-Trust, the brand's certified used-vehicle platform for buying, selling, and exchanging cars. The dealership is designed to align with Toyota's global retail standards and is intended to function as a single destination for customers across the ownership lifecycle.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sachin Sharma, Vice President – East Region, Sales-Service-Used Car, at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, noted that the new outlet is intended to improve product and service accessibility for customers in Raipur and the surrounding region, with an emphasis on customer-centric operations and long-term ownership value.

Chief Minister Sai remarked that the dealership's opening reflects broader investor confidence in the state and is expected to contribute to local employment and skill development. He added that the state government remains committed to maintaining a conducive environment for industrial growth.

Umesh Patni, Dealer Principal of Patni Toyota, said the dealership's focus will be on delivering service quality consistent with Toyota's global standards while building lasting relationships with customers in the region.

With the addition of Patni Toyota, TKM's total customer touchpoints in Chhattisgarh now exceed 20. The company, a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan (89%) and Kirloskar Systems Limited of India (11%), operates two manufacturing plants in Bidadi, Karnataka, with a combined annual installed production capacity of up to 3,42,000 units.
