Toyota Kirloskar Motor opens new facility in North east

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has opened its 24th customer touchpoint in the North East region in Tezpur, Assam. The new facility named Aditya Toyota, is spread across 37,000 square feet, and offers state of the art facilities including Sales (1S) and Service and Spares (S2). 

Varinder Kumar Wadhwa, General Manager, Toyota Kirloskar Motor stated, "The new outlet will offer a holistic car buying experience and provide a comprehensive suit of sales and services packages. As a boost to our journey of creating a strong footprint in the eastern markets, we are confident that the new facility will enable us to build strong, lasting relationships with our customers here. 

Amitabh Das, Dealer Principal of Aditya Toyota said, "At Aditya Toyota, we recognise that we are embarking on a remarkable journey to introduce this iconic brand to customers in Tezpur and the surrounding regions. We deeply look forward to further strengthening Toyota's relationship with the customer base in Tezpur. 

TKM has made significant efforts to meet the growing demand from the North-East
region. The company’s holistic approach to the region includes significant steps to strengthen the distribution network by setting up of first Regional Stockyard (RSY) in Guwahati and the subsequent set-up of a Regional Parts Centre (RPC) in Northeast at Guwahati, Assam in order to reduce delivery lead time to better serve customers.

Besides, the company is also contributing towards strengthening the value chain of the North East region through Toyota Technical Education Program [T-TEP] in association with the Skill Development Council (ASDC) and is collaborating towards Rural Skill Enhancement and Employability.
