Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has instated special support measures for its affected customers in the cyclone impacted areas of Chennai and Andhra Pradesh (includes Nellore, Tirupati, Ongole, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Kakinada & Guntur). TKM in association with its dealer partners set-up special emergency helpline numbers and designated personnel for extending immediate assistance to customers in need.
In addition, Toyota Tsusho Insurance Broker India Private Limited (TTIBI) has been actively involved in communicating essential information to customers regarding the precautions to be taken and guidelines for their vehicle handling during the flood situations.
TKM’s dealer outlets are also facilitating the customers’ vehicle pickup and drop services at their doorsteps. For this purpose, specially equipped Hilux vehicles are being utilised for rescue and movement of the submerged cars to Toyota dealer outlets for further repair and servicing. The Toyota dealer’s senior leadership teams, along with skilled technicians, are actively present on-ground at the respective service workshops underscoring their commitment to providing immediate and effective support to the valued Toyota customers. In these challenging times, TKM stands in solidarity with the affected communities, the company shared.
Takashi Takamiya, Vice President of Strategic Business Unit (South zone) at Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “Through these challenging times, we remain committed to the safety and well-being of our customers and their families, ensuring utmost care with necessary customer service supports in the cyclone affected regions. We are taking resolute measures to minimise any inconvenience to our customers, arising due to the flood situation. Apart from dedicated customer helpline services, affected car rescue operations are also being provided with the support of specially equipped Hilux vehicles”.
TKM will continue to monitor the situation closely, adapting necessary support initiatives to prevent any inconvenience and prioritising the safety of the customers and the community, the company said.
