TOCAL Raises ₹9 Crore to Expand EV Logistics and Fulfilment Network
The Bengaluru-based EV logistics startup will use the fresh capital to expand into new cities, scale its electric fleet and build a nationwide fulfilment network.
Bengaluru-based EV logistics startup TOCAL has raised ₹9 crore in a funding round led by XB Group, the parent company of K-Indev Logistics, as it looks to expand its electric mobility-led logistics and fulfilment operations across India. The investment was announced after the company featured on the startup reality show Startup Singam, which premiered on July 5.
The round comprises an ₹8.5 crore commitment from XB Group, with additional participation from Navyug Global Ventures, a family office, and high-net-worth investor Nivetha Muralidharan. The investment also marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between TOCAL and K-Indev Logistics to develop an integrated logistics platform combining EV-powered last-mile delivery, fulfilment infrastructure and nationwide logistics capabilities.
Founded by Dhairyasheel Deshmukh, TOCAL currently operates in Bengaluru, providing EV-based last-mile delivery services for e-commerce, quick commerce and direct-to-consumer brands. The company also offers fulfilment centres, fleet management software and rider enablement services through a single technology platform aimed at streamlining supply chain operations.
Under the collaboration, K-Indev Logistics will contribute its expertise in micro-warehousing, nationwide logistics operations and enterprise customer relationships, while TOCAL will provide its EV fleet operations, hyperlocal delivery network, driver ecosystem and proprietary technology platform.
The company said the fresh capital will be deployed to expand beyond Bengaluru into major metropolitan markets, establish additional fulfilment centres, scale its EV fleet, strengthen fleet and warehouse management technology, and grow its enterprise sales and strategic partnerships.
Over the next four to five years, TOCAL aims to expand its operations to more than 15 cities, deploy over 20,000 electric vehicles, operate 75 fulfilment centres and work with more than 1,000 brands."This investment reinforces our conviction that India's commerce ecosystem requires more than electric transportation; it requires modern, technology-driven logistics infrastructure. Together with K-Indev Logistics, we are creating an integrated platform that combines fulfilment through strategically located micro-warehouses with a tech-enabled EV fleet," said Dhairyasheel Deshmukh, Founder and CEO, TOCAL.
