Tata Motors' total wholesales jump by 4% YoY to 32,488 units in October 2023

Heavy commercial vehicles registered 10% growth, with 10,204 units sold during October 2023 as against 9,253 units sold during the month of October 2022.

Mumbai-based Tata Motors' domestic commercial vehicle wholesales grew by 4% to 32,488 units during October 2023, as compared to a similar period last year when it registered 31,320 units, with almost all the segments except for SCV cargo and pickup witnessing gains.
 
As per the data released by the company, HCV (heavy commercial vehicles) registered 10% growth, with 10,204 units sold during October 2023 as against 9,253 units sold during the month of October 2022. Intermediate, light, and medium commercial vehicle (ILMCV) trucks, on the other hand, reported 5,351 unit sales in October 2023—a jump of 14% as against 4,690 units in October 2022.

Passenger carriers recorded 2,514 unit sales in October 2023 as against 1,759 units in October 2022, which is a gain of 43%. The small commercial vehicle (SCV) cargo and pickup segment registered a drop of 8% to 14,419 units in October 2023  when compared with 15,618 units in October 2022.
