Tata Motors Posts 32% Growth in February 2026 CV Sales 

Domestic sales accounted for 40,893 units, up 32.8% from 30,797 units in the same month last year.

Tata Motors Limited reported total commercial vehicle sales of 42,940 units in February 2026, marking a 32% year-on-year increase compared to 32,533 units sold in February 2025.

Domestic and international sales combined stood at 42,940 units during the month. Domestic sales accounted for 40,893 units, up 32.8% from 30,797 units in the same month last year. International business contributed 2,047 units, registering a 17.9% growth over 1,736 units in February 2025.

In the heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) truck segment, the company sold 13,559 units in February 2026, compared to 9,892 units a year earlier, reflecting a growth of 37.1%. Sales of intermediate, light and medium commercial vehicle (ILMCV) trucks rose 34.1% to 7,577 units from 5,652 units in February 2025.

Passenger carrier sales increased to 5,548 units from 4,355 units, a growth of 27.4%. The small commercial vehicle (SCV) cargo and pickup segment recorded sales of 14,209 units, up 30.4 percent from 10,898 units in the year-ago period.

Domestic sales of medium and heavy intermediate commercial vehicles (MH&ICV) stood at 21,423 units in February 2026, compared to 15,940 units in February 2025, reflecting a 34.4% increase. Including international markets, MH&ICV sales reached 22,512 units, up 34.9% from 16,693 units in the same month last year.

The company operates in India and South Korea and has a presence across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Southeast Asia and SAARC markets. Following a composite scheme of arrangement sanctioned by the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench, the company’s name was changed to Tata Motors Limited with effect from October 29, 2025.
