Suzuki Motorcycle India Sells 95,244 Units in June 2025, Marks 8% Year-on-Year Growth
Domestic sales rise to 73,934 units while exports grow 24% year-on-year; Suzuki expands product portfolio with OBD-2B compliant GSX-8R and updated V-Strom 800DE in new colours.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the Indian two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, recorded total sales of 95,244 units in June 2025, reflecting an 8% increase over the 88,287 units sold in June 2024.
Within this figure, domestic sales accounted for 73,934 units, marking a 4% growth from 71,086 units in the same month last year. Exports reached 21,310 units, showing a 24% increase compared to 17,201 units exported in June 2024.
Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India, said the company continues to perform steadily in both domestic and international markets. He added that their focus remains on offering better value and enhancing customer experience.
In June, the company expanded its line-up with the launch of the OBD-2B compliant Suzuki GSX-8R and introduced the V-Strom 800DE in three new colour options alongside existing ones.
Established in February 2006, Suzuki Motorcycle India operates from its plant in Kherki Daula, Gurugram, Haryana, with an annual production capacity of 1.3 million units. The company manufactures 125cc scooters, premium motorcycles above 150cc, and Big Bikes for the Indian market.
