SUN Mobility announced on Thursday the appointment of Satish Sundaresan as Chief Executive Officer. Sundaresan will lead the company's global engineering, hardware manufacturing, and global sourcing operations, overseeing the production of smart batteries, quick interchange stations, and software platforms for domestic and export markets.
Sundaresan brings over 25 years of industry experience across automotive technology, software, and electronics manufacturing. He most recently served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at Lumax Auto Technologies, where he led electronics manufacturing, following executive roles at Elektrobit India, Mercedes-Benz, and Bosch.
"My focus will be on making sure every battery and station we build reaches our partners faster, more reliably and more affordably, in India and globally, and on continually advancing our technology so our battery-swapping platform remains the most flexible, cost-effective and future-ready solution for mobility as we write our next chapter," Sundaresan commented on his appointment.
