STUDDS Launches Thunder Fenix, a New Full-Face Helmet, in the Indian Market

STUDDS Accessories Ltd. has launched the Thunder Fenix, a full-face motorcycle helmet, in India. The product is available immediately at authorised STUDDS outlets and exclusive business outlets, with prices starting at ₹1,995.

The Thunder Fenix carries dual certification under both BIS (ISI) and DOT safety standards, and features a high-impact resistant outer shell paired with a regulated-density EPS liner designed to absorb and distribute impact energy. The helmet is available in sizes Medium, Large and Extra Large.

The interior is fitted with a hypoallergenic, replaceable liner made from microfibre fabric. A dynamic ventilation system with intake and exhaust vents is intended to regulate airflow during extended use. Additional features include a quick-release visor mechanism, a quick-release chin strap with a stainless steel buckle, and a UV-resistant paint finish.

Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director of STUDDS Accessories Ltd., said the Thunder Fenix "builds on the trusted foundation of our Thunder series while introducing a stronger design expression and enhanced comfort features."

The helmet is offered in several colour variants — Gloss Black, Matt Black, Matt Blue, Matt Gun Grey, White and Crystal Foil — and incorporates an aerodynamic silhouette with an integrated spoiler, which the company says reduces wind drag at speed.

The Thunder Fenix sits within the company's existing Thunder product line. STUDDS Accessories Ltd. is India's largest two-wheeler helmet manufacturer by revenue in Fiscal 2023, and, according to a CARE Report, the world's largest two-wheeler helmet manufacturer by volume in Calendar Year 2024, having sold approximately 7.10 million helmets in Fiscal 2024. The company, which has operated for nearly five decades, markets its helmets under the Studds and SMK brands in more than 70 countries.
