Steelbird Hi-Tech India Ltd., a leading helmet manufacturer, has introduced a new range of vintage-inspired helmets – the SBH-54, SBH-55, and SBH-56. These helmets are designed to offer a balance of classic aesthetics and modern safety features for riders seeking both protection and style.

The SBH Vintage series is constructed with a thermoplastic shell for impact resistance, ensuring the helmets remain lightweight yet durable. The inclusion of high-density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) enhances rider safety by absorbing shocks during an impact. The helmets also feature a polycarbonate visor with an anti-scratch coating, which provides a chrome finish for a classic appearance.

Available in three visor options – small, long, or without a visor – riders can choose according to their preferences. The helmets also include a leather strap at the back, adding a vintage element, and a comfortable interior that ensures a secure fit for longer rides. Additionally, the quick-release micro-metric buckle system offers ease of use for riders, allowing for simple fastening and removal of the helmet. The half-face design ensures good ventilation while offering adequate head protection.

The SBH Vintage series is priced between Rs 959 and Rs 1199, and comes in three sizes: Medium (580mm), Large (600mm), and X-Large (620mm).

Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director of Steelbird Helmets, highlighted the importance of safety, citing that a significant percentage of road accidents in India involve two-wheelers. He emphasized the company’s aim to offer helmets that meet global safety standards while providing a distinctive design for riders.
