Spyne, a global automotive AI platform, has launched Vinnie, an AI assistant developed to support used car dealerships by automating customer communication and improving lead management. Positioned as India's first autonomous AI assistant in the automotive retail sector, Vinnie is designed to address gaps in dealership communication, including delayed responses, missed follow-ups, and fragmented lead handling.
Built as part of Spyne’s existing visual merchandising suite, Vinnie integrates directly into dealership websites and Vehicle Display Pages (VDPs). It supports operations across sales, service, financing, and inventory, offering continuous support through voice, chat, and email channels. Vinnie is intended to work alongside existing systems, not replace them, and can be integrated with dealership CRMs and other sales platforms.
The AI assistant uses behavioural analysis and contextual information to identify high-intent buyers, engage them in real time, and guide them through the buying journey — from inquiries to appointment scheduling and test drive bookings. By automating communication tasks, it aims to help dealerships respond faster and handle higher volumes of customer interaction without additional manual input.
According to Spyne, Vinnie enables full-cycle automation across sales, service, and support functions. It delivers continuous buyer engagement using real-time dealership data and helps filter qualified leads based on intent. When used with Spyne’s performance-focused advertising tools, the company says it may also contribute to improved marketing efficiency.
Spyne reports that dealerships using Vinnie have seen improvements such as four times faster response times, a 42% increase in qualified leads, and a 37% drop in missed follow-ups within the first month.
