Sonalika Tractors Records Fastest-Ever 1.51 Lakh Unit Sales in 10 Months
India's leading tractor export brand achieves significant milestone during its 30th anniversary year, with year-to-date sales of 151,604 tractors between April 2025 and January 2026 amid favorable agricultural conditions.
Sonalika Tractors has reported its fastest year-to-date sales performance, recording 151,604 tractor units during the April 2025 to January 2026 period, marking a significant achievement as the company enters its 30th anniversary year.
The sales performance reflects sustained demand for agricultural mechanization amid favorable rabi sowing conditions and ongoing rural infrastructure investment. Sonalika, India's largest tractor export brand and third-largest domestic manufacturer, attributes the growth to its heavy-duty tractor portfolio equipped with advanced technologies.
Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Limited, said the results demonstrate farmer confidence in the brand's offerings. He noted that recent budget allocations to agriculture and allied sectors, along with GST reforms, are expected to support long-term mechanization trends and farmer sentiment.
The company's product range focuses on fuel efficiency, operator comfort, and power output for diverse farming applications. Sonalika operates the world's largest integrated tractor manufacturing facility, serving markets across more than 150 countries.
Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, Sonalika has grown to secure the fifth-largest tractor brand position globally. The company is a Fortune 500 India organization and maintains price transparency by publicly listing tractor prices and service costs.
The performance comes during a period of increased mechanization uptake and positive agricultural sentiment following good rabi sowing conditions.
