SML Mahindra Limited recorded a modest 3 percent increase in total sales for June 2026, navigating a mixed demand environment across its product categories. According to the company's regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations 2015, overall monthly sales volumes reached 1,930 units, up from 1,871 units in June 2025.

The growth was entirely supported by the passenger commercial vehicle segment, consisting of buses and institutional coaches, which saw volumes expand by 13 percent to 1,575 units compared to 1,391 units in June 2025. This upward trend in the bus category helped counteract a substantial contraction in the cargo truck division. Cargo truck sales dropped 26 percent year-on-year, falling from 480 units last June to 355 units in the current period.

For the broader financial quarter spanning April to June, SML Mahindra registered a cumulative sales volume of 5,438 units, representing a 10 percent increase over the 4,926 units sold during the first quarter of the previous fiscal year. The quarterly breakdown mirrored the monthly performance, with cumulative bus volumes rising 19 percent to 4,329 units, while cargo truck volumes fell 13 percent to 1,109 units.
