SML Mahindra Reports 15% Sales Growth in May 2026 Driven by Passenger Vehicle Demand

SML Mahindra reported total sales of 1,767 units in May 2026, registering a 15% year-on-year increase from 1,543 units in the corresponding month last year, supported by growth in its passenger vehicle segment.

Passenger vehicle sales rose 26% year-on-year to 1,423 units in May 2026, compared to 1,130 units in May 2025. In contrast, cargo vehicle volumes declined 17% to 344 units from 413 units a year earlier.

For the April-May period of FY2026-27, the company recorded cumulative sales of 3,508 units, up 15% from 3,055 units in the same period last fiscal. Passenger vehicle sales during the two-month period increased 22% to 2,754 units, while cargo vehicle sales fell 6% to 754 units.

The growth in passenger vehicle volumes helped offset lower cargo vehicle sales during both the month and the year-to-date period.

The sales figures were disclosed by the company under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
