Skoda Vision O Concept Car to Debut in Munich in September

Skoda Auto will unveil its Vision O concept car in Munich in early September 2025, marking the brand's evolution in the estate segment during its 130th anniversary year. The concept represents a development of Skoda's Modern Solid design language and underscores the company's commitment to sustainable innovation.

The Vision O concept car features a sleek silhouette with light contours, an aerodynamic body, steeply raked windscreen and gently sloping roof characteristic of Skoda estate models. The model designation "Vision O" draws from the concept of circularity—a holistic approach to recycling and reusing components to reduce environmental impact during vehicle development and production.

"The Skoda Vision O design study will highlight the future trajectory of estate models under the influence of new technologies, sustainability, and Skoda Auto's deep expertise in this segment," said Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Skoda Auto. "This will be one of our most significant steps in evolving our design language during this period of transition in the automotive industry. It positions us to remain a major player in the estate segment, where Skoda Auto has been active since the 1920s. We're excited to present this concept to the world in early September 2025, ushering in a new era for Skoda Auto."

The Vision O continues Skoda's estate car legacy, which includes models such as the historical L&K 110 and the Skoda Octavia estate, first introduced in 1960. Modern versions of the Skoda Octavia estate have surpassed 3 million units produced across four generations since 1998, making it the best-selling estate model in Skoda history. The Skoda Superb estate, introduced in 2008 with the second-generation Superb, has also enjoyed strong popularity.

The concept blends functionality with user experience, integrating advanced technologies and sustainable principles and its design emphasizes aerodynamic efficiency.

Skoda Auto currently offers 12 passenger car model ranges and delivered more than 926,000 vehicles to customers worldwide in 2024. The company operates as part of the Volkswagen Group and employs around 40,000 people globally across nearly 100 markets.
