Skoda Begins Customer Deliveries of New Generation Kodiaq 4x4 Across India

Skoda Auto India has commenced nationwide customer deliveries of its all-new second-generation Kodiaq luxury SUV as of May 12, 2025. The flagship model arrives as Skoda celebrates 25 years in India and 130 years globally, completing the company's SUV lineup alongside the recently launched Kylaq and the Kushaq.

The new Kodiaq features a 2.0 TSI turbocharged engine paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission, offering both seven-seat versatility and 4x4 capabilities. According to ARAI ratings, the vehicle delivers a fuel efficiency of 14.86 km/l.

"The all-new Kodiaq is the perfect embodiment of precision engineering combined with unparalleled luxury, seven-seat versatility, and 4x4 abilities," said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India. "The response since its unveil has been extremely encouraging, and we're pleased to begin customer deliveries across the country starting today."

The SUV comes equipped with a 32.77-cm infotainment display and segment-first Smart Dials. Additional premium features include Ergo massage seats, a 13-speaker Canton sound system, panoramic sunroof, and nine airbags for enhanced safety. The vehicle offers up to 1,976 liters of luggage space when configured accordingly.

Exterior design elements include LED Crystallinium headlamps and distinctive styling for the Sportline and L&K variants.

Skoda Auto India has also introduced comprehensive ownership benefits for Kodiaq customers, including a standard 5-year/125,000 km warranty (whichever comes earlier), 10-year complimentary Road-Side Assistance, and the Skoda Supercare package at no additional cost for the first year.

The launch represents a significant step for the brand as it enters the next phase of its growth strategy in the Indian market under Gupta's leadership as Brand Director.
