Skoda Auto India announces new corporate identity in line with digitalisation and expansion plans
The company plans to complete the rebranding of all customer touchpoints in time for the launch of its new compact SUV in 2025
As Skoda Auto India accelerates its expansion and digitalisation initiatives, the company has announced the implementation of its New Corporate Identity across physical assets including dealerships and service centers. This move follows the brand's introduction of the new identity in communications and marketing throughout 2023.
Petr Janeba, Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, commenting on the announcement shared “Together with making world-class cars, our efforts have always focused on offering a wholesome, all-encompassing and enriching experience to our customers, our families and our fans. Digitalisation is of course, one of the many ways we reach out to customers. Just as crucial is our consistency with our messaging, our design language, our identity and the face we present to our customers and all other stakeholders. We have been steadily and consciously implementing our brand’s New Corporate Identity in our communications and our marketing across 2023. Now, we are ready to take it to the next phase, which will include our dealerships and various customer touchpoints.”
Skoda Auto India’s new Corporate Identity features a symmetrical, solid typography combined with round shapes to convey both stability and fluidity. The Winged Arrow logo will be replaced with the Skoda wordmark for a unified appearance across all touchpoints. The new signage at dealerships will transition from Emerald Green during the day to Electric Green at night, ensuring uniformity while embracing the brand’s signature colours, the carmaker shared.
This rebranding aligns with Skoda's broader non-product initiatives aimed at enhancing customer engagement. The company has already seen success with digital campaigns such as the "Name Your Skoda" initiative and the Skodaverse India platform, which has integrated NFTs and the Skoda Gearheads membership program.
Skoda Auto India plans to complete the rebranding of all customer touchpoints in time for the launch of its new compact SUV in 2025, ensuring a consistent customer journey and leveraging local manufacturing expertise for world-class signage elements.
