Bridgestone India Opens Two New Select Stores in Guwahati
The new outlets — Kamrup Tyres and The Wheelz Shoppe — were inaugurated by Executive Director Rajiv Sharma and will offer Bridgestone's premium tyre range alongside expert vehicle care services to motorists across Guwahati and surrounding areas.
Bridgestone India inaugurated two new Select Stores in Guwahati on Sunday, extending its retail presence in Assam. The openings were officiated by Rajiv Sharma, Executive Director, Sales & Marketing at Bridgestone India, and mark the company's continued effort to bring its tyre and vehicle care offerings closer to customers in the northeast region.
The first of the two outlets, Kamrup Tyres, is situated at 89 No. Dadara Gaon Panchayat on the Damdama-Kulhati Road. The second, The Wheelz Shoppe, is located near Jaiswal Weigh Bridge at Boragaon on NH-37. Both stores are positioned to serve passenger vehicle owners in and around Guwahati as full-service, one-stop destinations for tyres and allied vehicle services.
Bridgestone Select Stores are designed to provide a comprehensive tyre and wheel care experience, combining a range of premium products with expert guidance, modern servicing equipment, and an emphasis on safety, ride comfort, and long-term vehicle performance.
The stores will stock Bridgestone's current premium tyre lineup, including the Turanza 6i — developed with the company's ENLITEN technology to deliver improved fuel efficiency, ride comfort, and compatibility with electric vehicles — and the Dueler All-Terrain A/T002, which is positioned for customers seeking reliable performance in both on-road and off-road driving conditions.
Sharma noted at the inauguration that Assam remains a strategically significant market for the company, and that the new stores reflect Bridgestone India's commitment to improving access to its products and services in the region. He said the company's retail expansion is guided by a focus on customer relationships grounded in quality and safety.
The inauguration of Kamrup Tyres and The Wheelz Shoppe forms part of Bridgestone India's broader strategy to deepen its customer-facing retail network across the country, with particular attention to regional markets where demand for premium tyre solutions is increasing.
