SKF drives innovation and empowerment with nationwide campaign for commercial vehicle mechanics
The campaign aims to raise awareness about SKF offerings for Commercial Vehicles (CVs), emphasising their crucial role in enhancing efficiency and sustainability within the automotive sector.
SKF India, a leading provider of automotive solutions, has launched its nationwide truck activation campaign, "Install Confidence, Install SKF", tailored exclusively for commercial vehicle mechanics. This initiative will traverse more than 50 cities across 18 states, engaging with approximately 5,000 mechanics in the coming months.
Alagesan Thasari, Director of SKF Automotive India & Southeast Asia, commented, "At SKF, we acknowledge our responsibility to the industries we serve, the society we’re a part of, and the planet we inhabit. The SKF Truck Activation Campaign represents a significant step towards bridging the gap between manufacturers and mechanics, fostering collaboration, and driving positive change within the automotive aftermarket industry. Through these initiatives, we aspire not only to empower mechanics but also to propel our collective journey towards a circular society."
Within the specially designed truck, SKF will showcase its offerings for CVs, educating mechanics about the SKF Mechanic Partnership Program. The truck will serve as a knowledge hub, providing insights and skill enhancement opportunities to mechanics, enabling them to stay updated with the latest trends in their profession.
Mechanics will also have the opportunity to experience immersive Virtual Reality (VR) technology inside the SKF truck, where they can explore a virtual world showcasing the wide range of SKF products and their applications.
