SIAM Opens Mobility Lab at New Delhi Expo, Putting 14 EVs on the Floor
The industry body's three-zone pavilion at Smart Mobility India Expo 2026 draws together OEMs, research institutions, and technology firms.
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has set up a dedicated pavilion — the Smart Integrated Automotive Mobility Lab, or SIAM Lab — at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi as part of the Smart Mobility India Expo 2026, running from March 23 to 25.
The pavilion, located in Hall 1, is displaying 14 electrified vehicles across categories and brings together 13 OEMs, component manufacturers, and a set of technology and research partners.
The SIAM Lab is structured across three zones: Sustainable Mobility, Research & Testing, and Technology. Technology and infrastructure partners on the floor include Qualcomm, HERE Technologies, Google, ITS India Forum, Onnyx, and testing body ARAI.
OEM participants span multiple segments — Tata Motors, Kia India, JSW MG Motor India, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, BMW India, TVS Motor Company, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Ather Energy, Hero MotoCorp, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, Hyundai Motor India, Montra Electric, and EKA Mobility.
Prashant K. Banerjee, Executive Director at SIAM, said the expo gives the industry a platform to demonstrate where Indian mobility is heading. "Our participation at the Smart Mobility India Expo provides a platform to showcase innovation, foster collaboration, and highlight the industry's readiness for future mobility solutions," he said.
The expo runs through March 25 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
