Schaeffler India Q1 CY2026 Net Profit Rises 19.7%; Revenue at ₹25,070 Million

Schaeffler India Limited reported a net profit of ₹3,197 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026 (Q1 CY2026), translating into a net profit margin of 12.8%, as the company sustained strong growth across its core automotive and aftermarket businesses.

Revenue from operations during the quarter stood at ₹25,070 million, registering an 18.8% year-on-year increase compared to the corresponding period last year. On a sequential basis, however, revenue declined 5.1% from Q4 CY2025, indicating a softer quarter-on-quarter performance.

Profit before tax (PBT), before exceptional items, rose 19.7% year-on-year to ₹4,257 million. The company maintained stable profitability, with PBT margin at 17.0%, marginally higher than 16.9% reported in both the year-ago quarter and the preceding quarter.

The quarterly performance was supported by double-digit growth momentum across key segments, particularly Automotive Technologies, Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, and exports. The company attributed this growth to continued traction in its focus areas and successful business wins during the period.

Managing Director and CEO Harsha Kadam said the company delivered strong growth across all segments despite ongoing supply chain challenges and inflationary pressures. He noted that the ability to sustain earnings quality reflects the company’s strategic emphasis on localisation and capital efficiency.

Schaeffler India said its localisation initiatives and disciplined capital allocation helped mitigate external headwinds, enabling it to maintain margins even in a volatile operating environment.

Looking ahead, the company reiterated its commitment to achieving its financial and operational targets, while continuing to capitalise on opportunities emerging in the mobility and industrial sectors.

Schaeffler India operates five manufacturing plants located in Talegaon, Savli, Maneja, Hosur, and Shoolagiri, supported by three R&D centres and a widespread sales and aftermarket network across the country. It is part of the global Schaeffler Group, which focuses on motion technology solutions spanning electric mobility, CO₂-efficient drives, chassis systems, and industrial applications.
