SANY India inaugurates factory to enhance production capacity

SANY India inaugurates factory to enhance production capacity

SANY India has inaugurated a factory at its 90-acre manufacturing facility in Pune, to enhance production capacity and localised manufacturing in India. 

With an annual production capacity exceeding 14,000 units, the facility also supports a robust fabrication capacity over 100,000 metric tonnes per year. These capabilities position SANY India to efficiently cater to increasing demands across construction, mining, and energy sectors in India and overseas, the press release noted. 

Xiang Wenbo, Chairman of SANY Group unveiled the new production facility, during the inauguration ceremony. "y incorporating the latest manufacturing technologies, we are positioning ourselves to meet both the challenges of today and the demands of tomorrow," he noted. 

"This facility also supports our commitment to the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Make in India’ by enhancing exports to key markets and driving increased localisation in our manufacturing processes,"  Deepak Garg, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, SANY India said.

The company is eyeing more Rs 30,000 crore in revenues by 2030- marking more than a 3x growth. It currently offers a wide range of products, including excavators, cranes, concrete mixers, batching plants, pumps, grading machines, pavers, milling machines, compactors, stackers, cranes for rail and ports, mining equipment, and wind turbines. It has around 42 dealers and 260 touch points across India.Sany India’s Chief Operating Officer for Sales, Marketing & Customer Support Sanjay Saxena told Autocar Professional that the company will put equal focus on each vertical - earthmoving, lifting, foundation, mining, ports, concrete, and roads - going forward.
