Saint-Gobain Sekurit India recorded a 5.1 percent year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 11.32 crore for Q2 FY27, up from Rs 10.77 crore reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
On a sequential basis, net profit grew 21.2 percent compared to Rs 9.34 crore in Q1 FY27. The profit growth was supported by steady volume expansion in automotive glass sales, which partially offset the impact of increased input costs.
Total revenue from operations for Q2 FY27 expanded 13.4 percent year-on-year to Rs 68.48 crore from Rs 60.39 crore in Q2 FY26, and rose 12.7 percent sequentially over Rs 60.77 crore in Q1 FY27.
Total expenses for the quarter rose 16 percent year-on-year to Rs 56.49 crore compared to Rs 48.73 crore in the year-ago period, and increased 9.11 percent sequentially from Rs 51.78 crore. The expense rise was primarily driven by raw material costs, which grew 19 percent year-on-year to Rs 30.55 crore.
