Royal Enfield reported total sales of 1,00,905 motorcycles in February 2026, registering 11% growth compared to 90,670 units sold in the same month last year.
Domestic sales stood at 91,248 units in February 2026, up 13% from 80,799 units a year earlier. Exports declined 2% to 9,657 units from 9,871 units in February 2025.
For the year-to-date period, total sales rose 24% to 11,26,325 units, compared to 9,08,879 units in the corresponding period last year. Domestic sales during the period increased 24% to 10,06,937 units, while exports grew 27% to 1,19,388 units.
B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield, said the company continues to see sustained demand across markets. He added that the company recently announced a capacity expansion to support future growth.
Parent company Eicher Motors has approved an investment of Rs 958 crore for a brownfield expansion at Royal Enfield’s Cheyyar facility in Tamil Nadu. The expansion will increase annual production capacity to 20 lakh units from the current 14.6 lakh units over the next 18 months.
In brand initiatives, Royal Enfield took its HunterHood street culture platform to Shillong, built around the Hunter 350 motorcycle. The company also concluded its Desert Cruise Ride 2026, a multi-city ride across Rajasthan held from February 12 to 22.
In international markets, Royal Enfield’s Bear 650 won the “Best Naked Bike” award at the Indonesia International Motor Show in Jakarta. The company also opened its first apparel store outside India in Russia and introduced new products in select global markets.
